Even during a hot one, summer delights the senses. So, too do poets and poetry. But how sweet the sound of “published” as our Tennessee Voices anthology is released.
Summer travels and PST projects have me thinking about the size of our state and the opportunities we are creating to build a vital poetry community across Tennessee (and beyond!).
As I reflect on the shift of seasons and PST program years, I feel the heat and happiness of what’s been and what’s to come. I invite you to be a part of it.
As I explore things that stick (and maybe a few that don’t) I consider poetry, the role our society plays, and the lasting beauty of this art we pursue.
